MEET DR ITALO CARPES MORAES
His holistic take on Dentistry enables him to provide an individualised care for his patients, taking into account not only Oral Health but considering each patient as a unique universe of expectations, needs and concerns.
Dr Italo began practising dentistry in 2002. As a dentist he is particularly interested in trying to understand his patients as individuals with a complex combination of characteristics. He works to promote good oral health, natural looking smiles, ultimately aiming to improve his patient’s quality of life.
After 3 years working at his private practice in Brazil, he moved to London and joined Dental Excellence, a high-end dental laboratory owned by the former president of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, Anthony Laurie. Here he incorporated his clinical skills with dental technology to provide high levels of aesthetic work always endeavouring to achieve the best results for his patients.
Dr Italo works as an independent associate dentist at two high end practices in central London.
During his whole professional life, Dr Italo strived to keep an open learning attitude to the scientific and technological side of dentistry and, perhaps most importantly, to the human side of it. Having as a focus the construction of strong relationships with his patients based on trust, ethics and deep care.
Other Interests:
In his spare time Italo enjoys reading, playing the saxophone, riding his bike (which he uses as transport on a daily basis) and developing himself to be a better person.
